Meet Your Hosts – Mary Wye Qiqi & Rupeni Ligaqaqa Qiqi

At The Ideal Bed & Breakfast, hospitality is a family affair. With over 20 years in Fiji’s tourism industry, Mary and Rupeni bring both professional experience and heartfelt care to each guest. Mary’s background in resort operations and Rupeni’s years as a Senior Pastor who dedicated 14 years to serving hotel communities in the Mamanuca Islands, bringing spiritual support and connection to staff in some of Fiji’s busiest resort hubs. Later, the couple moved to Taveuni, where Rupeni joined Paradise Taveuni as a Driver, Tour Guide, and Manager on Duty, serving guests with the same dedication and humility he brings to his ministry.

IBB was born from family and built with love. From Aunty Emma to Mat, Knox’s, Anna, Vere, Walter, Jerome, and the rest of the crew—you’re not just staying with hosts, you’re joining a Fijian family.
